Some goings on

Well there is not that much to update this week really. We’ve had the past couple of days with the girls, doing things like shopping and going to the zoo. Some photos attached.

The zoo was very hot and the girls did a lot of sleeping. So I think Andrew and I did most of the animal viewing.

We also spent some time in the hospital, getting treatment for Eliana this week. After going to an International Clinic – we found out she was fairly sick and needed different treatment than the Chinese hospital recommended. Now after her checkup today, she is finally appearing to be on the mend.
Tomorrow (Friday) is our last day in Guangzhou, so it is also a packing day. It will be interesting to see how we manage packing with Eliana and Olivia on our hips J. We leave early Saturday am to fly to Beijing for 6 days before returning home.

Thanks for the update. From reading Stacie's blog, sounds like the group spent some time at the hospital and getting on the mend. All the best as you travel to Beijing. I love all the pics! The girls look to be settling in so well with mom and dad. Mom and dad look like old pros.
Cheers,
Steph, Rick, Brenna and Garreth
(Bamboo Bunch is really looking forward to meeting the girls)

Hi Andrew and Margaret,
We're so pleased to hear that Eliana is getting better. We just love looking at the pictures of you all because somehow it makes you seem closer. A week today we'll be at the airport to welcome you and your precious girls home. We trust that you have a safe trip to Beijing and that everything goes well during your last few days in China.

Congratulations to all four of you! We are following with great interest and know as parents of twins, you will be very, very busy but it is most rewarding! Our girls are now 33 and it seems like only yesterday they were the age of your wee babes. They are adorable little girls and are very fortunate to have found such loving parents.
